You can use the Spectrum modem/router to provide WiFi if you wish. Then connect a cable from the LAN port on the FW6B to one of the ports on your switch. A fairly standard approach would be to connect a cable from the modem to the WAN port on the FW6B. For example, I tried to install a customer-supplied modem to Comcast/Xfinity and they wouldn't allow it (for some actual technical reasons) if we were wanting to have a static IP.
